However a short training course of three weeks is mandatory for all applicants which includes Introduction to Latest security techniques, Awareness of commonly used criminal techniques, Guard duties & responsibilities, Maintenance of post logs, Psychological warfare and Use of weapons, metal detectors, fire fighting equipment, explosive detectors (to select group only) and communication equipment.
